I'm excited to announce that PainFree Posture MN is BACK IN BUSINESS!
On May 23, 2020, Governor Walz announced specific guidelines on May 23, 2020, that allow me to conduct indoor personal training (see Personal Care Services) sessions by appointment only beginning June 1, 2020.
Barring anything unexpected in the next few days, I am plan on re-opening (by appointment only) on June 1, 2020!
What We're Up To
I genuinely hope you're finding ways to thrive during these unprecedented times. I empathize with the many challenges each of you is facing and believe me, I am feeling them too. It's been a LONG 11 plus weeks since I've worked with clients here in the studio!
I've been doing what I can to maintain a routine, and my fitness. Some of you learned to bake and TikTok, but I took all my extra time to work on rehabilitating our American Staffordshire Terrier, Chloe (can you say re-runs of The Dog Whisperer?). I'm pleased to say she's much better trained, and I am a rehabilitated pack leader.
My very good news to share is that the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development permits me the ability to resume business beginning Monday, June 1, 2020.
My business, PainFree Posture MN falls under the Personal Care Service which states:
Beginning June 1, personal care services (such as hair and nail salons, barbershops and tattoo parlors) can reopen to provide services indoor as long as they:
Have adopted and implemented a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan
Limit the number of clients inside the business at any time to ensure 6 feet of distance between persons except when providing services
Reduce occupant capacity to no more than 25%
See clients by appointment only; do not allow walk-ins
Require workers and clients to wear masks at all times. For services where the client cannot wear a mask, the worker should add a face shield in addition to their mask.
I will resume teaching private sessions by appointment on Monday, June 1st. I am only teaching on Mondays for now and will add additional days as requests for sessions increase.
All clients must sanitize their hands before entering.
Hand sanitizer, Lysol disinfectant spray, and Clorox wipes are available at the front door and in the studio.
To minimize movement through my home, studio equipment is now located in the main living room space directly adjacent to the front door.
The bathroom is available for use. However, I ask that you do what you can before your arrival to avoid using it as usage will cut into your appointment time for cleaning/disinfecting afterward.
Client and Coach Health Considerations
Clients are required to stay at home if they show any signs or symptoms of Covid-19 or any illness.
Clients will receive a notification if it becomes known that another client has tested positive for Covid-19.
PainFree Posture MN has a disinfected sublingual thermometer available to check clients by request or if there is a question of being contagious.
I will wear a mask during your session. Please provide your own and put on prior to your appointment arrival time.
Programming and Training Considerations
The use of standard equipment and training tools is my biggest challenge. Only the Stott Pilates Cadillac and posture therapy/corrective exercise tools are available for use. All equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after use.
Clients are to remain in the studio for their exclusive use for the duration of their workout, maintaining the social distance recommendations between themselves.
Workout duration will be adjusted to fifty (50) minutes to accommodate time before and after to disinfect the equipment and minimize social traffic before and after class.
Schedules and class times will be adjusted to reduce traffic and accommodate time for sanitizing.
Late cancelations (24-hours or less) are subject to a $25 late cancel fee and paid IN FULL before any future bookings made for you.
Unattended children or partners can NOT be with you in the studio at this time.
To book your sessions, contact Coach Deb via the website, or email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Online Training Opportunities
I am available for online programming via Zoom, Facebook Messenger, or Google Duo for those who may not feel comfortable coming back into a private personal training scenario.

To book a virtual appointment, please email Coach Deb to set up (email@example.com)
Virtual appointments can be scheduled on a mutually agreeable day/time.
I cannot thank you all adequately for supporting PainFree Posture MN through social media likes and comments, and the offers of financial support. I'm deeply touched and grateful for your encouragement while I've been unable to work with you.
