Ask A Posture Pro| 3 Exercises to Ease Back Pain
Good Morning Pain Free Life and Living!
I'd like to share a tipping-point article I received in my in-box this morning from from Bottom Line Production's High Energy For Life.
Posture Alignment Therapy using The Egoscue Method was featured in an article called Three Exercises that Can Realign Your Body and Ease Low-Back Pain.
There is a good introduction to the basics of Postural Therapy, how posture is related to pain, and how corrective exercise can restore muscle and joint function.
Both photos and written descriptions of these Back Pain Relieving corrective exercises are given.
Three Egoscue Exercises for Back Pain Relief
1. Standing Arm Circles
2. Static Back Knee Pillow Squeezes
3. Airbench
All three of these e-cises are powerful movement medicine exercises that can empower you to overcome posture realted pain on your own in the comfort of your own home.
However, as with any of our corrective exercises, much can get lost in translation. Should you try these e-cises and not feel symptomatic pain relief, have difficulty getting into the demand of the exercise, please don't lose hope!
Listen to your body!
Postural therapy really can and does work. Your body is telling you something, and you may be in need of some instruction, support, coaching, or a menu made specific for your unique posture and pain related needs.
That is what you will get when you partner together with local Posture Alignment Specialist (Egoscue University Certified).
We know what to do to help you achieve a Pain Free Life and Living! Please reach out if you have questions/concerns. We want to hear from you.
